Is there any command that will change all my track settings at one time to beatmap or one shot? I do it one by one and it's a time-killer. Also -- more important -- is there any command that will get that loop gate dealie to snap to my sample perfectly, so I don't have to do it by hand each time? |

Here's what I'd like to do: 1) Paint in all my track samples at once. (I SELECT ALL tracks, click on paintbrush, and hit CTRL-click, but this won't work -- it still just paints one track at a time) 2) Get all my tracks to line up on the far left all at once. Or even a command to get ONE track to line up hard left -- anything other than clicking and magnifying the screen and dragging -- over and over and over. My wrist's getting sore! For every project, are we expected to paint each track separately, then click and drag it to the far left (or wherever)? I may have 20 or 30 tracks, and it seems there must be some shortcuts for some of this stuff... |

Hi tibby, 1) Doing that will just paint in an entire event belonging to a track. The fact that no event appears when the track is added to the project is by design only, because most users would like to just add the tracks to the project and decide what to do themselves from there. (If you'd like to see such an option to automatically add the events as you add each track, be sure to let Sony know. Be specific and clear about what you want.) 2) Same as number 1 above; this is by design, as most users would like to start with a clean timeline slate when adding tracks to a project. Some users, for instance, might want only a portion of an entire track rather than the whole track, or might want to start the track at measure 9, beat 1 rather than measure 1, beat 1.
