Ok, I have a short 5 second loop that is a .wav file in the key of Am. What I would like to do is start out with it as such, and then after a few loops, change the key to something different. 1) is this possible at all? 2) if it is, is there a way to set key change markers on a track to change the keys of the same loop pasted a few times? 3) or do i have to put each key change on a new track and then render them all to 1? Thanks for your help! |

A minor? Since it's the relative minor of C Major, you could use that as the key. You would have to do some mental transposition as a result. For example, if you wanted to change the loop to B minor, you would have to set the new key two semitones above or 10 semitones below without regard to what ACID says it is (since it's using C Major as the reference in this example, it'd report D when setting two semitones above). Not sure what you're asking in your second question. You want to change the key of the Loop as it progresses over the course of the project? Insert multiple key markers by clicking the desired point and then pressing K on your keyboard. (Note the mental transposition I talked about earlier.)
