Subject:What notebook do you use ?

I plan to buy a new notebook but I can't really decide what brand, what model.
I would like to know which models Acid users are working with...
What are good an bad aspects... ?

I use a Dell Inspiron 2600 w/1 gHz processor and 20 gig HD. I don't use it all the time, but it does come in handy. When I use it I use headphones for monitoring.

good - portable
bad - small and slow HD, USB CD writer

i would try to stick with a dell laptop. they seem to be the best quality and reliability wise. (from what ive read and heard) Dell also makes them very affordable for your average laptop.

What about Sony? I have a friend who just got one. 3 USB2 and 1 Firewire.
