I get the Screenblast Acid 4.0 and tried to install it and it told me it was unable to locate the xxxx.cab file. so i went to the web site and it told me to copy the contents of the CD to my hard drive and run it from there. I tried doing that and it told me it was unable to run the autoplay program. I'm confused

Try skipping the autorun and going straight to the application setup: Setup\English\SBACID40\sbacidSetup.exe
