Its been bothering me for some time. I've heard some songs with the same (if not, similar) reverb and its been eating at me. I've been in SF trying to duplicate it/get a similar effect, and have been unsuccessful. Can someone hook me up with tha info' needed? Spooks-"WuN TwO b3 OuT" |

You better look into some hardware processors. Two of the most popular reverb devices used in studios are the Lexicon 480L and the PCM90. |

George I have most of these except these two: 1. WaveArts MasterVerb. 2. Waves Rverb (Reverbs). The one I think you overlooked on your list is TC Works Native Reverb. That's my preferred plugin reverb, but that's just because it's the closest thing I've heard that sounds similar to a PCM90. |

TC native= www.tcelectronics.com TC, makes hardware and software reverbs. The powercore series you';; see a lot of on their website is a combination of them both. If you don't want the hardware, then look under the the products menu and goto "native bundle". The native reverb is in that section. Waves=www.waves.com Timeworks= www.sonictimeworks.com. These are effective reverbs, but not as pricey as the waves and TC ones. If you can't afford the TC's, then go with the timeworks. cakewalk= www.cakewalk.com. The FX3 reverb that George referred too is pretty nice. This one has a great user interface, where you get a 3D dimension of a room and you can place the microphone and sound source anywhere in that room, then also chasnge the size and shape of the room. I've used this one for special effects, but not any vocal parts. Others to checkout: Sonitus R3. This use to be www.ultrafunk.com, but has been recently purchased by cakewalk. www.cakewalk.com |
