Greetings... I'm new to the forum, so, maybe, I missed this topic, but, does anyone have any suggestions for areally good Sound Card, that I can record multipule tracks into Acid/Vegas using my mulit-channel Mackie Board? I would I configure this to accept mulitpule tracks? Thanks everyone for your time and efforts! Grandaddy |

From what I keep hearing, stay away from Creative (sound blaster audigy, etc). I've heard some good things about M-Audio cards. |

There are a number of professional 24/96 audio cards available that will give you multiple ins/outs with various PCI, Firewire and USB 2 solutions. A couple of companies that I am most familiar with and have a good reputation for driver support are: www.m-audio.com (check out the Pro Audio Interfaces)www.echoaudio.com/Products/ (24/96 Recording Solutions) I have been using an Omni/Delta 66 PCI (from M-Audio) for the last (3) years, in my DAW, and have never had a hardware related problem and the low latency WDM/ASIO drivers are well tested and solid.
