I'm about ready to pull the plug on this program. I've got the latest version and build of Acid, and for some strange reason I can't for the life of me get Acid to send a steady midi clock sync signal. I've got a Virus KB and at first I thout it was the Virus so I contacted their support dept. (very helpful guys) and they had me run some tests that pointed back at Acid. I've run midi-sync from Cubase SX and it's VERY tight. Acid appears to be sending a signal but it drifts after only a couple of seconds until the Virus's arpeggiator is no longer in sync. I've checked and rechecked the sync to clock settings in Acid and everything is correct. Please help!!!

I've got a Gina24 sound card and Edirol UM-2 Nidi interface...running a Intel P4 with Intel motherboard.

Ive had the same issues with Midi clock alos with the latest version of Acid

Its always been "woobly" in 4, even Acid 2.0 was fine! - So whether its a bug etc? Midi lags behing on my system on about the 4th Bar!, and my system is a fast p4 2.4 1024mb Ram etc..

My last system with Acid 2.0 was P2 300 and 128mb RAM!!! and that was fine!!!

yes...Acid is a little laggy...but...

make sure you have the latestes OS for your Virus.

i was having problems with my Nord Lead's arp goin out of sync, then i updated the OS on it and it was better...but still faded out after a while...

seems like you and i gotta invest in a Ms2000b or a KS4/5 for the arp. just set the bpm and off you go!

Got the latest OS for my Virus. Like I stated, the sync is rock solid in Cubase SX. Hell, just for kix I downloaded a trial copy of Sonar...and guess what? Midi sync was tight. Why am I not using the other 2 apps? Because 1- I've been using Acid since it came out and I can crank out remixes and media industry music in just hours verses days. 2- NOTHING does loops like Acid...not to mention the quick chopping and splicing. I had no problems with Midi in earlier builds of 4...it's the latest build that seems to be the problem. If I go back to an earlier build, most of my VSTi's will crash all the time.

There have got to be more people having midi sync issues....let's here from ya!

Thanks,
