Add Markers to events works great, is there a script to add events at markers?

What I'm trying to achieve is this: I'd like to add 80 stills on time line, each still 10 seconds in length. I'd then "select events to end" and move the whole group 2 seconds to the right. I'd run "add markers to events" and move whole group back to beginning of timeline. Then I'd like to add titles (.png) on track above with length of 6 seconds.

You'd then have each still of 10 seconds with a 6 second title centered over it, if it were possible to add the events at the markers.

Anyone know if there is a way to do this?

Is there a script to set the fades on each side of all the events as well?

Thanks

Yes there is but I do not know of any "pre-written" scripts to add a text box at all markers.

1) Place markers at all events - written (built into Excalibur or available at the COW)
2) Place text at all markers - would need to be written. It may be easy enough to just manually add it at each marker, though, since you'll have to edit each one anyway.
3) Fade In/Out - written (built into Excalibur and discussed in my newsletter [Issue #1])

Thanks Jet, It's not so much add text at markers as it is add the already made .png events at markers (or other types of events). I'll check out the other info.

To add png events to markers, you may want to look at the "slideshow to markers" script at Sundance. However, it will fill the entire area between markers requiring the size to be changed.

Thanks Ed, that would be helpful in that I would only have to resize right side instead of adding as same length of media on lower track and resizing both sides.
