Subject:SF 7.0 Stability

I find that SF 7.0 is very unstable. I am running Windows XP Home. When I select a region to loop and make fine adjustments real time to the start and end boundaries, it stutters, sometime pauses, and may sometime lock up. Is ther a fix for this. I have tried the latest update SF 7.0a and there is some improvement but it does not run as smooth as SF 5.0.

Two suggestion,

one is any memory management tweaks you've applied recently should be removed - particularly any IO locking tweaks (which imabalance the system anyway) Second the pagefile should be extended by a factor of roughly 256 to 384mb depending on average length and bitrate of working files your at right now.

Seems a great deal of the app code is self managing. And sometimes comes into conflict with the OS mem manager.
