Subject:Acid 4.0f problems...

...anyone else having problems with 4.0f? Every now and then while I'm playing back the thing almost grinds to a halt. SOunds like it's playing at half speed. Press stop and play again and it's back.

Also had it completely lock up while using dbs free 'Tempo Delay'.

Begining to wish I hadn't downloaded the update...

...and even more problem. When I try and render a soft synth part to a new track (I.E. trying to save some CPU by making a MIDI soft synth track a WAV) it come out completely silent. Test this with the DLS Synth and I've got the same results.

Am I going insane. I'm sure all this stuff was fine before the update...

So you have your soft synth problem solved but not your first problem? Sounds almost like you're hitting a performance ceiling but I'm not sure.
