This is for the Sony developers: you can see gross jpeg compression artifacts on the new Acid 4.0f splash screen that aren't apparent in the other rebranded splash screens. It's a minor point but it looks pretty bad. B. |

I don't know about the splash screen as I always select to skip it, but the new logo on the task bar is ghastly. A vomit green square? I minimised all windows the other day and I actually couldn't find Acid - I had to open up several windows to locate it. The Old Sonic Foundry logo button was much clearer. I'm even thinking of going back to the version before 'f' because the button's so terrible. I hope Sony change the design, it's truly disgusting. Chris (Hunt) |

My guess is that they're moving towards the colored squares for each of the main products (a trend that started with Vegas 4) and they chose a free color. DVD Architect = Blue Vegas = Yellow Sound Forge = Red Acid = Green It is a bright green though ;) |
