Hi,

Its easy enought to insert time into a project. Can I delete time also? If I wanted to delete a whole chorus for example.

just delete the track your chorus is on!?!?!?

Not sure if I understand either.
However, you can select parts to be removed by using RIGHT CLIC/SPLIT AT CURSOR if you want to remove a section of your track. Is this what you mean? Split at the beginning and the end of the unwanted part, and delete.

If you want to delete an entire section of events and have everything move into its place, try turning on ripple edits (CTRL+L on your keyboard; this shortcut toggles), then use the Time Selection Tool and select an area. Press DELETE on your keyboard.

Everything that was selected should be deleted and anything to the immediate right should move into its place.

hey thanks for that info- I used to do it the hard way by selecting, deleting & reselecting the remaining portion & dragging it backwards into the open space- your way is faster - one of these days, I will learn more quick key commands
