Subject:Cursor Selects Oversized Sections for Editing

Hi:

Something has changed in my SoundForge 6 software. When I click and drag a small section of silence in a file to delete or copy, I instead get a selection size of the file that's much bigger and longer in time than what I wanted. This didn't use to happen so I'm guessing something has changed in my settings somewhere.

How can I make it so when I click and drag my cursor to highlight a section of the file, I only get the small section that I intended to highlight?

Under the options menu, turn off the "auto snap" options by ensuring they are unchecked.
