Posted by: DJMattB241 Date:11/21/2003 6:54:42 AM After extensive toying around with Acid Pro 4, i still have a couple questions about Midi. 1) I get it to the point where i have stuff written into a loop, C, D, A, C, or whatever, and its playing as a piano (via the Acid soft synth). I open the soft synth properties box, and it lists all the voices you can choose from. How do i make these voices take effect? Seems stopping playback and doubleclicking doesnt work. 2) Other soft synths... for instance i have Native Instruments FM7, which has bells for voice #28, or so says the standalone program. It has a keyboard onscreen so you can play around with the sounds. Anyways, when i manually enter the patch # into the midi file in the event screen as patch 28, it doesnt sound like the bells i just heard. Any ideas?
