Subject:Acid Pro 4 & Kontakt Issues

I guess this is a known issue but i didn't find any good answers to work around this issue :

When i load Kontakt in AP4, what i Can't do is :
- Delete a "rack" instrument by pressing the "Delete" key on my keyboard (and this is the only way to delete instruments in Kontakt as far as i know).

- use most of the keyboard shortcuts... Seems like Acid "thinks" that these commands are for the Sequencer windows or the main Synth Properties window...

In that way, i can't efficiently work with those two softwares that seems to work very well (loading songs, loading samples, etc...).
Any ideas ?

What samplers do you guys use in AP4 ?

Don't tell me you use HALion because it's sooo instable and the windows always forget to resize and other minor bugs that makes the work an impossible mission (tested at a friend's computer).
And HALion and Kontakt are the two "VSTi Beasts" ever made... Any suggestions ?

Thanx for the tip,
It's a nice freesoft but i was talking about more professional tool that have standard hardware sampler's format support (gig, sf2, akai, and so on)

Are you using Kontakt 1.2.1 or 1.5
Im using Kontakt 1.5 with Acid 4.0e with no problems.
Go to the LOAD/SAVE and select the Instrument you want to delete and click REMOVE.

I'm fairly sure the VST version of Kontakt doesn't support/use ANY key shortcuts(vst has no standard for passing keyboard shortcuts maybe?). There are menu items for deleting instruments/etc. It's only the stand alone that has the features your talking about.

Ok got it... Thanx for your answers.

The issue was about the fact that when you double clic a "rack" instrument sample in the main right windows, and that you hit the "delete" key, it deletes (as it's supposed to do) this instrument. In the Stand Alone version, it works well, in Cubase, it works well, but in Acid Pro 4.0, it only work once...

You know what i mean ?
