I am bored with the interface, it;s just so dull! have been using Acid since day one, and would LOVE a fresh new look |

I hope they never change it! It's incredibly useful just the way it is. I see so many other programs with prettier and fancier interfaces and they are much harder to use. |

Yep, it's not the trendiest design (like Ableon), but it works well ergonomically. Maybe just a little aesthetic refresh without changing the layout ? |

My only request is to bring back the faders. I'm not sure why they took them out for those little boxes. That would be it for me. Bring back the FADERS! Ed. |

You guys right. The interface is simple, gray, maybe boring, but very efficient. Sequencer are meant to make music, not to be beautiful. That's the same thing when you're buying a synth because it'll fit your appartment's wall color ^^. |

I agree, it is clear and easy to use, did'nt mean a complete overhaul, just an option maybe to chage the baground colour and track colours... I find that I like working in different studios in the real world, not just because of the sound, but the aesthetic ambience too. a bit of eye candy for the ear candy... ? wouldn't cost much would it.. |

>>wouldn't cost much would it.. Far more than you'd imagine. Coding a fancy GUI is in many ways more time consuming that getting the "guts" right. Also, the fancier the GUI, the more CPU time is spent spinning on the GUI. Peter |

Leave it alone... The Acid interface is is there to create sound, not look pretty. My garage may be the horror of the neighborhod to look at, but if it keeps the snow off my car... |

Useless notion - keep it as is. let steinbugger have the eye candy and the perpetual updates to fix that and the rest of it. even sonars eye candy is minimalist function over aesthetics..every time |
