I'm trying to seperate the tracks during recording and I can't figure out how to do it with ACID 4.0. When I record my project from the "Create CD" option, I only get one big track instead of the track getting seperated by the songs. Can someone help? Thanks for your time.

you need to go to your sound cards' mixer section & check on the proper channel to "record from" as opposed to "what u hear" which seems to layer everything together - I had the same problem with my soundblaster audigy ex when I first started recording- if your card is different, the idea is still the same - make sure you are recording from the desired source only.

As mortal mentioned, ensure that you only have your selected hardware input selected for recording in ACID 4.0's recording dialog. (Under "record device.")

If you want to monitor while recording, that's left up to your soundcard's ability to monitor while recording. Check your soundcard's software mixer.

ACID cannot burn a project that has multiple songs as seperate CD tracks. ACID burns Track at Once and treats the entire project as a single track. It has no concept of "multiple songs" in a single project and therefore no concept of multiple CD tracks.

The paradigm is one project per song. You burn a song as a track. If you want multiple tracks, then you burn project one, then project two, etc, etc.

You can do a bit of a work around by selecting each "song" in your project and do a selection render.
