How would you go about fading a track in Acid?

Just one track or the whole mix?

If it's just one track, simply click the track and add a volume envelope on the track.

If a whole mix, try opening up the bus track view (U on your keyboard) and inserting a volume envelope on the master bus. Add envelope points to taste and drag.

Note you must have ACID Pro 4.0 to have this feature; no other of version of ACID has it.
