This problem sounds similar to the, "ghost" guys. Anyway, I had the most maddening session ever with Acid 4.0e recently. I'm trying to mix this track down. It'a about 20 tracks all 24bit 48k. As I mute tracks I start hearing other tracks faintly. So I mute ALL and I still here this one track pestering me in the background. I deduce that one track just simply won't mute unless I delete it out of the timeline! Why? I couldn't tell you. I ended up crying and dumping it in Pro-Tools LE. Why do you push me away, Acid? WHY? Were the offending tracks being routed to any effects buses? ACID effects sends are pre-fader so when you mute the track you also have to mute the effects bus or set the effect send level all the way down. Changing this was mentioned frequently in the recent thread about feature requests for ACID 5. Dave |
