Hi Is Acid 4 a VST 2.0-compatible host application capable of hosting HALion? Can anyone in reality pick out music with the little on-screen viritual keyboard provided with SoundBlaster LIve? Or is it really nessicessary to get a external MIDI keyboard ? Larry |

If HALion is capable of being used as a VSTi, then the answer is yes. I echo what Sin said; get a MIDI controller of some sort as you'll be much happier in the long run. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

Is not necessary an external keyboard. I have used Cakewalk Virtual Piano program with Acid 4 without problems. With this program you can use your computer keyboard. I have not used Halion but yes other virtual instruments like FM 7, B4, etc. |
