Hi guys, I've just recently started encountering a problem with Acid 4. When ever I start acid, right after the splash screen I get an error message that says: "An error occurred starting ACID. The system is low on memory. You may be able to reduce memory usage by closing other applications." I can't get past this. I have 256mb of ram and no other apps running. I encountered the problem a couple months ago. I was then running windows 2000. I upgraded to XP profession today thinking maybe that might help and it still won't run. If anyone has got any ideas I'm all ears. |

Ensure that nothing essential to audio is running in the Systray. Try also going to Start>Run and in the "Open" field, type "msconfig" (without the quotes). Go to the "Startup" tab and then click the "Disable All" button. Click OK and restart. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
