I get the following dialog whenever I try to save a WAV file in Windows Media Audio V8)format: "An error occurred while saving one or more files. Error 0xc00d0bc2 (message missing)." The plug-in says it's Version 1.0 (Build 43). Now what do I do?

Can you please tell us a little more information about your system and the file you are saving? What Windows OS are you running? Are you saving markers/regions or command markers with your file? What template did you select, or what are your settings if you created a custom WMA template?

I am having this same problem in Sound forge and in Vegas. When I try to save a file as a Windows Media file I receive this error. I saw a previous post listing a download fix from Microsoft, but when I tried to download I received a error saying it was not a valid Win32 application. Please help.

Why don't you answer SonyTSW's questions and maybe you will get help?

Edit; Oops, sorry there it is.
