There is a special upgrade promo for $99.00 if you do it before October 31st. After that the upgrade price reverts back to it's regular $149.00. If you are looking to upgrade, I would do it before the end of the month to save some cash. I just upgraded my SF5 to SF7 last week for $99.00.

You can get the special price for upgrading from Sound Forge (any version) to Sound Forge 7.0 here.

OK, let's get real here, folks. The decision to make 7.0 available to ALL previous owners of ANY SoFo version is not just the best offer going - it's a freakin AMNESTY policy. I mean - who ELSE is offering such a reasonable cost - $99 - to upgrade to a fully functional program of SoFo's caliber? (Not that the guilt was totally debilitating me - but STILL...that's just the best deal anybody's going to find anywhere. Period.)

But it's a free country. And reasonable minds can and do reasonably differ. But honestly, this one's a total no-brainer.
