Subject:OT/ Trying to find out who makes this mic...

I don't know much about it. I believe it is vintage, and it star shaped at the top, screws directly onto the pole. I know it's a pro mic, just not sure who makes it or the model. Any help is appreciated Thx.

I'm guessing the star shape you refer to is shock absorbent springs that hold the element centered in a ring. Is this correct? If so, you're describing a very large number of microphones from that era. Do you have a picture you can refer us to?
