Hello,

I just got Acid Pro 4.0 and it is really awesome. But how in the world can I change tempo for only a track and not the whole project? Anybody? Did nor find anything in the documentation...

The only way you can do that in Acid is to convert the loop you want to play back at a different tempo into a OneShot -- then it will play at its natural tempo. But that's just a cheat -- there's really no way to change the tempo of a single track.

One thing you COULD do...if you have Vegas (or anyother multi-track app) you could render out the Acid project (sans the track yoyu want playing at a diffferent tempo) and then bring that mix into your multi-track and add the track you want playing differently.

You could access the properties of the track and change the number of beats to change the tempo, but it's just a half-hearted attempt.

Double the beats to halve the tempo; halve the beats to double the tempo.

You could alter the sample in something like Sound Forge as well, but doing so would also alter the ACIDized properties.
