Hello, I just got Acid Pro 4.0 and it is really awesome. But how in the world can I change tempo for only a track and not the whole project? Anybody? Did nor find anything in the documentation... Elke |

The only way you can do that in Acid is to convert the loop you want to play back at a different tempo into a OneShot -- then it will play at its natural tempo. But that's just a cheat -- there's really no way to change the tempo of a single track. One thing you COULD do...if you have Vegas (or anyother multi-track app) you could render out the Acid project (sans the track yoyu want playing at a diffferent tempo) and then bring that mix into your multi-track and add the track you want playing differently. You could access the properties of the track and change the number of beats to change the tempo, but it's just a half-hearted attempt. Double the beats to halve the tempo; halve the beats to double the tempo. You could alter the sample in something like Sound Forge as well, but doing so would also alter the ACIDized properties.
