okay, I must be doing something wrong but I can't figure out what. I have a wav sample, edit it, etc, etc, save the portion I want saved (RENDER to a new wav). Then *SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME* the new wav plays at a MUCH faster tempo than the original. This has happened a few times and I can't figure it out; I'm not changing any of the root note or tempo settings. anybody have a clue about this? |

What kind of sample type does the newly rendered file become? There are three types: Loop, Beatmapped and One-shot. Loop and Beatmapped adhere to ACID's time stretching and key stretching capability, while One-shot is left untouched; what you hear is what you get. Try going into the properties and changing the file type to "One-shot" to see if that helps. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
