I accidently recorded a piece of media at too high a level. Now the playback is sort of muffled with noise. It's hard to describe the sound. It there a tool in sound forge that could fix this? Thanks. tillitea |

Clipped peak restoration in the Noise Reduction plugin will help a little, but not a whole lot. Can you do the recording again? That would be a much better solution. |

just buy a line level atenuator -- there are neat little packages that cost like 20.00 bucks they have clean slider to adjust the signal. |
