Hi all, I am making some films with some high school students and I want an inexpensive bundle that can help score some movies any ideas? Are the scoring packs worth it? I would love to know you thoughts. thanks, Emmo |

It depends on what you want to do. If you're looking for something ambient & abstract, James Johnson's two libraries SLOW SILHOUETTE & SPEKTRAL MINIMALISM are fantastic. CINEMATIX 1 & 2 aren't bad, either. (I'm not sure what the scoring packs consist of). If you want some quick, down-n-dirty quick stuff, there are a few libraries that basically are broken-up beds that have already been composed (this drives me crazy, personally, but it can be sueful if you don't want to "compose" somethign from scratch. ELECTRO LOUNGE and a few others fall into that category. HTH |
