If you have been experiencing problems rendering to Windows Media formats (WMA or WMF) and are running on WindowsXP with SP1, download and run the following fix from Microsoft:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/winmediatech40/Update/8.20.00.5059/W982KMeXP/EN-US/wmfdist2.exe

I've tried downloading this fix, but I get an error message that says, "not a valid Win32 application" Do you have any suggestions?

Try right-clicking on the link in my message above and select Save Target As. Does that work for you?
