Hi first time here :) my friend uses acid pro 4 and has encountered an error after he saved a file as an acid zip with embedded files. He has done it several times before and its been fine. however this time he received an error message which said 'invalid argument was specified' does anyone have any suggestions on a) can the file be recovered b) stop it happening again thanks in advance Su |

Can the project be opened? If so, have you tried saving it under a new name? Do other projects work fine when saving with embedded files? (Be sure to backup projects before attempting this. Actually, always backup your projects a regular basis so you don't run into such a problem like this. You'll save some potential heartache in the long run.) Hi again Su, How was the project burned to CD? Try not to use those proprietary packet-writing programs like ones used by Roxio's Easy CD Creator or Ahead's Nero. In my experience, they've been unreliable vs. the traditional method of burning data to CD-R/CD-RW. Have you tried copying the project to the hard drive and opening it from there? (Might want to check the properties of the file and ensure that the file is not set to, "read only," once it's copied.)
