Izotope has now released Vinyl 1.6 for DX and RTAS
and YES it is still FREE!

excellent plugin. most of my samples come from vinyl anyway, but for those too-clean-cd-loops this comes in very handy. and free as well! amazing.

Vinyl is very cool. Izotope even emailed me to tell me the update of this FREE product was now available. Now who else does that?
If you've got the bucks (about $200 US), their Ozone is the best software audio mastering tool I've found. 64 bit processing, automated, excellent interface. If nothing else, go to their site http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/ozone/guides.html
and get the free guides on Mastering and Dithering. They are invaluable whether or not you use Ozone.
