I'm having a MIDI sync issue that is driving me nuts!

I have a Yamaha Motif 6 keyboard that I'm trying to SLAVE to ACID 4. But the keyboard plays back at about a fourth of the speed of the tempo. Very bizarre.

my guess is that you need to generate Midi Clock and not Midi Timecode. Most keyboard sequencers still use only Midi clock data. You need to go to Preferences-Sync-and select the proper routing for the Generate Midi Clock function. Programs like Cakewalk and Cubase and etc know this is status quo and so they make all default midi sync stuff generate Clock and not time code. Also make very sure that the project sample rate is set to 44/16 because midi doesn't like other rates. Good luck,luces.
