Subject:playback problem

i'm running acid pro 4.0 on xp and when i playback my project it will "hick- up"
is this a sound card issue or is it my computer?
Its frustrating...thank you

Thanks marcarotsky....I've tryrd the defrag/msconfig but i am still having "hich ups" ..My computer has only 120 megs of ram...could this be a problem?

128 is fairly low for audio use. especially if youre runing win 98 or ME. i would try gettin more memory or upgrading your op system to XP or XP pro.

marc, he does have XP. ;o) (He said so in his first post.)

128 MB is really low for XP; that's the bare minimum. Get at least 256 MB—more if you can help it. I can almost guarantee you'll notice a difference off the bat.
