New to Acid Pro 4.0.............. -ACID Product Family

I know what I want to do and that is make beat that a flow can be dropped too. Is there a tutorial online anywhere that is very desciptive, something like Acid 4.0 for dummies? I'm trying to get into it andI'm starting from scratch I need to know where to get loops and what to do with them , some one please help...............................................I'll make you famous when I blow up.

Reply by: marcarotsky Date:10/9/2003 6:35:55 PM well, been there done that..... :-) it is a little overwhelming at first, but i promise...youll get it in no time! to be quite honest, learning acid is best done by sitting in front of your computer till 5 am and just screwing around!! (if you have a girlfriend or wife, shes gonna hate you!) believe it or not, acids learning curve is very quick, as oppose to ther programs. its very "user friendly" get yourself some loops...you can find millions (literally) on-line. just do a search for like "acid loops" or "music loops" things like that. if you bought a "hard copy" of acid (the actual disk as oppse to downloading the program) it woulda come with a bunch of samples. start playing around with em. see how they stretch, match tempos, key changes and effects. start putting some full songs on your computer and chopping em up and laying beats behind em... good luck, post again with specific questions if you want. have fun --marc
