Actually I am a sound novice, trying to learn too many new programs in video and audio.

I have Sound Forge 6 and Noise Redux 2.0. But can not figure them out ( I have no audio background)

Is there someone out there that would be willing to help an old visual learner that needs a step by step map in order to get started?

There is a step-by-step walkthrough on how to remove noise from an audio file in the Noise Reduction manual (found here). It begins on page 12.

It should get you started.

Hi Coach!

It would help if we know what exactly you CAN do. Can you connect your tape player to your computer? Can you get SF6 to record? Have you yet produced a digital music file?

Tell us, then we'll move on from there.
