I have a AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 512DDRAM 120GB HDD 128DDR AGP I am building my track with many vst plug-ins. It is bogging down more and more as I add more plug ins is this normal?

perfectly normal, although with that machine, it should take A LOT to bog down...more than what you are describing! read some of my recent posts on how to "tune" your maachine for audio use! it will help a lot!
