OK, so I'm chicken! But I haven't installed 4.0e yet....I bought 4.0 when it first came out so...can you blame me? Is this version stable? I've been using version 3 and figured it's time to get my money's worth...if it's there!

Seems pretty stable to me. Mine never crashes, and I haven't had any of the horror stories I've heard about earlier 4.0 versions.

Version 4e is all rockin and stable in my corner of the world. Bringing in projects from previous versions has given some small hiccups but then it is usually best to finish off a track in the version you started it on. That is why I have version 1, 3 and 4 installed on my system...as I am still finishing off some tracks I did years ago :/ You know the feeling..."I could just fix this one little bit to make it better "... Sometimes playing, mixing and mastering your own material can drive you nutz....

Stable??? Not for me. Crashes my computer at least twice a day... I dont know anything about other versions, 4e is the first one I installed on my system. Very annoying... trying to hunt problem down...
FYI: XP with all updates and SP, plenty of RAM, plenty of HD space, plenty of CPU power, Creative Audigy 2 Sound card
