Er, that would be "vocals". I don't have a clue as to where you intend to go from here though, good luck.

I think I know what you are asking. You want to obtain just the vocals from a song so that you can "remix" it.

Usually, you have to request these things from the label that recorded the song. If you even get through and then make them take you seriously, you may have to pay fees (which won't be exactly cheap). If you become well-known enough as a remix artist, you may get invited to remix a song. Notice I did not say you had to be good at it ... just well known.

Sometimes they'll have interesting contests over at acidplanet.com in which they will make the vocals available as well as other loops and things with which to construct your remix.

Ya know, I never thought somebody would actually post the inverse of the "How do I remove vocals from a song?" thread, but well...wow.

I'm just in shock.

So for your google-fearin', zero research doin' caboose, I offer "a capella" you music piratin' ACID newbie. Godspeed good sir, may the RIAA always be at your heels, not at your door.
[That's "You want the a capella version, good sir." in plain old English]

p.s. I hate a capella music, with a passion. Not just the vocal tracks, but when people decide to do soft rock hits of the 80's, 90's, and today without such great things as, oh, key or rhythm. Call me biased, but it's a bad thing.
