I am using a Nord Lead Keyboard with Acid. The midi seems to be working fine, the Motu 2408 is working well, I am seeing an audio signal going in and out of the 2408 but no audio is being heard while recording into ACID. After recording I am able to hear audio on playback, but while recording, I am unable to monitor what I am recording. Please help !!! :) My email is PaulBFIT@aol.com Thanks...

How is your hardware setup? Usually, you have to enable your desired input and turn its slider all the way up in the software mixer in order to hear it with the rest of your mix.

Look in your MOTU's software interface and see if there's anything there.

I would be interested to know if there is a fix as I have exactly the same problem. It is not really a big deal for me since I track in Vegas or Pro Tools with a Digi001, but it should work properly. BTW, I am using the Digi ASIO driver which works perfectly in Vegas. Again, signal shows up on the record meter, but no sound for monitoring.

ACID does not do input monitoring in software. Vegas does with ASIO drivers. (It can with Wave, but it is very problematic due to higher latencies.)

With the MOTU you can set up the CueMix applet to permit hardware/driver based input monitoring _externally_ to any host application.

The Digi001 does not support hardware monitoring or rather it doesn't provide a tool to do this.
