I have Acid 4.0a, build 237. It worked fine when I had windows 98, but I upgraded to Win2K... I re-installed Acid, but the program will not open. I get a vague error window "Acid 40.exe has caused errors and will be closed by windows. An error log is being created." Well, that tells me nothing, because no such error log exists. I'm totally stuck here. Any ideas? |

You need to reinstall DirectX 8. They are different between the 98/ME and 2k/XP installs. |

Thank you, Sonic. I'll try that this evening. |
