Reason 2 wont sync with Acid via Rewire? -ACID Product Family

Subject:Reason 2 wont sync with Acid via Rewire? Posted by: buckaroo Date:9/13/2003 6:50:06 AM Tried to Sync Reason 2.0 with Acid 4.0e and cant get it to work or sync? Open acid 1st and it detects Reason 2 in "Rewire" page. Open Reason ok, and it says "Rewire slave mode" - but wont play when i hit Acid? - is it something to do with my soundcard (EchoGina) not releasing the outputs? - i have changed Acid over to "Windows Classic Wave Driver" (instead of EchoWDM) , which works fine but i still have the problem? This is also the case when i use FL Studio 4.1 as a VSTi synced to Acid - This syncs fine, but selecting sounds/playing tracks in FL 4 on its own - and i get no response/sound or Midi ?? Any help please?

Does the tempo change in Reason to reflect the tempo in ACID when playing back? (It should match it spot on.) Have you also tried routing a MIDI track in ACID to Reason? Does that work?
