Hello All!

I have a question and I hope someone can help me out.

I am having a problem recording multiple MIDI tracks. When I record a track and play it back everything is fine if I decide to record another track using a different patch in the same project I am getting distortion and a really bad sounding track. Do I need to select another channel on my keyboard for the different patch or is it software issue that I might not be familiar with?

I guess if it was a channel issue I would record my first MIDI on channel 1 and the next on channel 2 lets say.

If this sounds familiar to someone I sure would love to know if I am on the right track with this problem.

Thanks,

Mako

Never had that problem (though, admittedly, I'm not as heavy into MIDI as I am digital audio). What's your audio interface (soundcard)? Have you tried updating its drivers?

I am using a M audio soundcard that I just purchased recently. I believe I have the latest drivers.

I am starting to drift toward digital audio as well. It just seems like I spend more time trying to solve MIDI problems than anything else.

Thanks mD
