I just read at the DMN forums that DSE stated that the sony booth is showcasing soundforge 7. Is there any truth to this? And why wasn't I emailed to beta test????? ;)

Given that 7 follows 6, I would guess it's not impossible. WTF (what) and WFT (when) is WEVA ?

There's no real information on version 7, but obviously it's in-the-works if not close.

I'm a little pissed off, as I JUST got Sound Forge 6 and CD Architect 5.. I certainly hope there will be a gracious (IE free!) upgrade path.

I wonder if after the release of SF7 if we'll see CDA 6 come out...or at least a update with bug fixes+cd text support? ;)

yeah - after rebuilding a whole new app, I can't see them folding it into sf 7
