Thanks for the advice. I have heard of this printer and the problems associated with labels. But what I'm looking for is slip cases to put in my dvd cases. So a program for this purpose. I should have been more specific. Sorry for the confusion.

Sure Thing makes an excellent labeler & it has many templates which are very professional looking. It also has the ability to be used with the Epson Photo 960 which prints directly on DVD/CDs.

Sure Thing CD Labeler should do the trick for you. It is pretty awesome. I have used it for a few years now.

filmy, have you used their DVD labels and tools or just the jewel case inserts? If you used their DVD labels, have you had any problems with the labels coming off? Thanks.

As previously mentioned, there has been a LOT of discussion on this board in the past--do a search.

Personally, I love labels, have never had any problem with them, and have distributed hundreds of DVDs with them with no negative feedback. I use a rolling pin with the disk sandwiched between a thin cotton cloth on the bottom and a towel on top to ensure perfect adhesion.

I have not tried printing on white DVD media, but from what I hear the results are not as successful from a print perspective as when printing on label stock. By that I mean the printed image is subject to smearing and is not as colorful as what I can get with my technique. But I really don't know this to be a fact, since I have not tried it yet.

Oh, I use the "Nero Cover Designer" program built into the Nero burning program. It is surprisingly powerful and does CD inlays very nicely. I print DVD labels with an Epson C80 onto Meritline glossy stock, and attach them with a Stomper tool.
