Subject:master bus in track window?

Hi... I've been using ACID (since version 2) daily and I thought I was an advanced user but I ran into something new today... I was messing around and somehow pressed some key combo that made the master fader (just the bus without the actual fader) somehow appear as a track in my track window. Somehow it split the track window into two parts (I can drag my cursor to move them and expand them) and I can still add tracks to the top part, but the darn Master track is there at the bottom (with its own timeline and everything), and I can't seem to get rid of it, no matter what I try. If I close ACID and open it again, its still there. Does anyone know what this problem is or have seen it? I don't think its a bug. Any advice would be appreciated because its very annoying. |

If you look under 'view' on the menu, you'll see an entry called 'show bus tracks'. Uncheck this if you don't want to see them. Actually, I use them a lot, because not only does the master bus show up here, but any VST or DX instruments as well. This is where you can apply and/or edit automation envelopes to these just as you would on individual tracks. |

hey sharaab! thanks for the post, I learned something. Ironically, I use the Video Bus Track in Vegas all the time, which is the same kind of thing..and..vegas has the same audio bus track as ACID. L |

To add to all this, U is the keyboard shortcut. It toggles the bus track view on and off. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
