Hi, I have enoded a DV stereo soundtrack ( from a digital video camera) to a AC3 5.1 surround file. There are two people talking with a disticnt break inbetween. I would like to have on voice come from the front and the other voice come from the rear speakers. Anyone know which program I can use for editing ? thanks fuzzzzy |

Well, since you are in the Sonic Foundry forum, you might try Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video 4. :-) Seriously, what did you use to encode the AC3? If it was Vegas, then you have the editing ability built in. Set the project properties to 5.1 instead of stereo, and you can edit on the timeline. |

Hi, Thanks but the timeline is still the two stero tracks, how would I split it into 5 tracks. VV4 does not read AC3 files:( fuzzzzy |

I guess your original tracks wil stay in stereo. But if add a new audio track it will be 5ch or .1ch(LFE toggle). |
