I was proposing to do a book on ACID Pro 4.0 (which was awhile ago), but my publisher (Muska & Lipman, which is part of Thomson Learning) pulled out of the project. (They claimed it wasn't profitable at this moment.) Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

Hey mD, If you ever manage to convince your editor to change its mind on the proposed book, I'll be the first in line to buy one. I've read all the help files, plus the posts here, etc. etc. and there's still always some new mystery lurking around the corner for me. I also wanted to thank you for all your great input here, your tips have really helped me out. |

is the full printed $25.00 manual more explicit / helpful than the HELP FILES you can drop down from within ACID? |

Actually, the printed manual is the same one that can be found here. (Some like to have the manual in paper form, I would imagine.) Most, if not all, the functions of ACID can be found in both the online help and the full manual, but there's lots of pretty good tips in the full manual not covered in the online help. (Check out Appendix B, "ACID Tips and Tricks", specifically.) HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

The acid manual is very helpful, but it's quite difficult to Alt-tab the windows and concentrate... even more with the fact that I'm French... So is there a French manual or a project for this (like reason has) because we are pretty much in France to use Acid 4.0 ?? |
