Subject:Playback Error

Hi there...

I just started up acid 4 after a while of not using it. Now im getting an error message.

An error occured while starting playback.
An unexpecting error has occured.

Any idea whats causing this? Solutions??

K, i just updated to the 4.0b using the patch provided on the website and now I acid just crashes after the splash page. The error message im getting now is...

acid40.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

Anyone have a solution for this? Everything was working fine before. SF6 is still working.

Can you show the error log here?
Also, if you could list your system specs.

Sorry, you can disregard the second message. I was thinking I could solve the problem by uninstalling it then re-installing it again. It didnt work. I still have the same error message I got in my first post.

Oh, I got a seperate error in the "track properties" window and this time it came with details. Here it is...

Why are you still piddlin around with that..? you should have the 4b/build 317 version by now...that's the fix...

dude.. you have the exact error i have.. and it doesnt matter what i do it just wont friggin work.. did you ever get this figured out?

Try updating to 4.0e Build 408 yet?
