It's not currently possible in SF v6.0.....but may be coming to a theatre near you soon.

Peter/MD want to weigh in on this?

I'm hoping sincerely this is not the case that it cannot generate a pink or brown noise signature

Sound Forge 6.0 cannot generate brown or pink noise.

Beautiful, very helpful ted.

Try again with a bit more feeling..

Now seriously, is there something a bit more in the way of helpful you can offer if the function is indeed not there?

Like Ted said, there's no current way of doing it within SF v6.0. I have not seen any plugins that offer this also. I've been using CoolEdit Pro for this functionality and have been requesting this feature be implemented in Sound Forge one day.

Red, i thank you for the reply I was hoping for from SF, but sadly can't seem to get. I guess i'll take a look at cool edit or maybe just request some test tones from you if that is possible

Thanks so much.

Well, I was going to suggest that you just download the Demo Version of Cool Edit, because I think it was fully functional with a 30 day time limit, but now I just remembered that it is owned by Adobe. Cool Edit Pro is now Adobe Audition and I don't see a demo version available on Adobe's website.
