hi i wa just wondering if their are any known issues between vegas 4 and the stdsp 2000 cport sound card , due to the fact that i went into a studio with a band to do some drum /git overdubs on tracks that had already been started elsewhere the tracks loaded ok but everytime we hit record the computer just completely shutdown vegas three was installed also and the studio manager said that they had no problems with vegas three so i tried it and he was correct but the tracks we were working on were saved as v4 projects we found the latest updates (4d )etc but all gave the same result shutdown on record .any ideas ?
the computer set up was
3gig amd
igig pc400ram
120 gig x2 drives
3 xst dsp2000 sound
geoforce4 agp

ps the crash occured if blank new project was stared so it was not a case of corrupt files
